This dissertation investigated the relationship between Academic Procrastination and Academic Anxiety among college students. The research aimed to understand how procrastination behaviours correlate with levels of academic anxiety and whether these behaviours and anxiety levels differ between male and female students. A quantitative approach was used, involving questionnaires administered to a diverse sample of college students within the Jammu city. The questionnaires measured levels of Academic Procrastination and Academic Anxiety. It was found that there is a positive correlation between the Academic Procrastination and Academic Anxiety experienced by college students. Hence, the first hypothesis was rejected as it stated there to be no link between the two variables. As for the gender differences in regards to Academic Procrastination, it was found that there are no significant differences between the procrastination levels of male and female college students. Hence, the second hypothesis was accepted. Similarly, in the case of Academic Anxiety, no significant differences were found between the anxiety levels of male and female college students. Hence, the third hypothesis was accepted.en_US
