A STUDY ON SOCIAL MEDIA ADDICTION AND CYBERBULLYING AMONG ADOLESCENCE

Abstract

The rapid proliferation of social media platforms has significantly transformed the social dynamics among adolescents. While these platforms offer numerous benefits, they also present new challenges, including social media addiction and cyberbullying. This study examines the gender differences in these phenomena and explores the relationship between social media addiction and cyberbullying among adolescents. The objectives of this study are to identify the differences in cyberbullying experiences between male and female adolescents, analyze the disparities in social media addiction across genders, and investigate the connection between social media addiction and cyberbullying.
