Abstract: The teacher educators have crucial role to play in preparing young people not only to face the future with confidence but to build it with purpose and responsibility. The teacher educators need support from teachers, Supervisors and schools during practice teaching. Practice teaching is the most important part of the teacher education program, but unfortunately the most neglected part of training is that student teacher complete their required lessons in hurry ignoring all principles of education. Practice-teaching refers to the opportunity given to the trainee to develop and improve his/her professional practice in the context of real, usually under some form of guidance or supervision. The present study aims to investigate the difficulties faced by teaching practice schools. Quality education is a pre-requisite for national, regional and global development. To deliver quality education, we need quality teachers who are committed to teaching and equipped with necessary knowledge, skills and competencies for effective teaching. The present investigation aims at studying the difficulties faced by students, teachers and administrators of practice teaching schools during teaching practice at B.Ed. level. A simple random sampling was used in the selection of the sample. The sample consisted of 150 students, 40 teachers, and 10 administrators of practice teaching schools and the investigator used descriptive method. The study was quantitative in nature. 10 Government schools of Jammu city where teaching practice is being carried out were selected randomly. The data collected were analyzed using percentage analysis and t-test. The measuring instrument comprised of 40 items each and was administered to the selected sample. Some of the problems revealed in the study concerning teaching practice were problems of indiscipline, duration of teaching practice, non-cooperation; disturbance creates by teacher trainees, time, disturbance in regular work of teachers and students. The study revealed that majority of the students, teachers and administrators sometime face difficulties during teaching practice. The study also revealed that there were significant differences among male and female students, teachers and administrators with respect to their gender.
