| Abstract: | The present study aimed to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction among teachers. Teaching is a profession that requires both cognitive and emotional competencies, and emotional intelligence plays an important role in managing professional responsibilities and interpersonal relationships. The study was conducted on a sample of 209 teachers from various schools and colleges. Data were collected using standardized tools, namely the Brief Emotional Intelligence Scale (BEIS-10) and the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ). The data were analyzed using statistical techniques such as mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation, and t-test. The findings revealed a significant positive relationship between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction among teachers. This indicates that teachers with higher emotional intelligence tend to experience higher levels of job satisfaction. The results also showed that there was no significant difference in emotional intelligence and job satisfaction based on gender. The study highlights the importance of emotional intelligence in enhancing teachers’ well-being and professional effectiveness. It is suggested that educational institutions should focus on developing emotional intelligence among teachers to improve job satisfaction |
