Abstract

This study aimed to explore the relationship between emotional intelligence and teacher effectiveness among private and government college teachers. Specifically, it tested three hypotheses: (1) There is no significant relationship between emotional intelligence and teacher effectiveness among private and government college teachers; (2) There is no significant difference in teacher effectiveness between private and government college teachers; and (3) There is no significant difference in emotional intelligence between private and government college teachers. Data were collected from a sample of teachers across various private and government colleges, employing standardized measures of emotional intelligence and teacher effectiveness.
